That Painter Lady (thats me!) just did an interview with fellow VOXer Dawn. She gives some amazing ideas for marketing her business. Take a listen to it here: Two Painters In A Pod - Podcast
I'm getting geared up to faux paint a bar... I mean the actual bar top... to look like copper or slate. Not sure which yet. The local city golf club asked me to choose colors and carpet for the club house, bar, golf shop and offices. I actually didn't charge for doing that, I got a free lunch. (sometimes I am way to easy). Anyway... when I saw the bar top had been previously painted I choked on the paint job. Yuck. So I volunteered a solution, and they asked for a bid.
All of you that know me,,, know I am not painting for clients much anymore, but this job was just too easy to pass up. And I charged a price that makes it worth my time to leave my nest.
I have finished up the second video set in my series. I teach faux wood graining. Did you know you can put a nice wood grain on almost anything? Instead of striping paint off furniture, you could just faux wood grain it. So easy and no messy stripping.
Check it out ... I have special pricing on eBay for both my videos. Learn to Faux Wood Grain.
